This is not a course where you study theory behind a laptop. These are three intensive days in which you record commercials, bring animation characters to life, and narrate documentary and audiobook scripts in a real recording studio. Days in which you discover what your voice can do, get personal direction from professionals who do this for a living, and finish with your own voice demo. All of it in English.
Why this bootcamp exists
How often have you heard it? "You have such a great voice!" Or: "You should be doing voice-overs!"
And how many times have you thought: okay, but how? Where do I start? What do I need: an expensive studio, special software, years of training? And if you live in the Netherlands but don't speak fluent Dutch, there was one more hurdle: voice acting courses here are taught in Dutch.
Maybe you've already tried it yourself. Recorded a script on your phone. And it sounded... not the way you hoped. Too forced. Too flat. Just not right. And you didn't know why.
That's why we created this bootcamp: our complete introduction to voice acting, taught entirely in English.
In three days, you'll find out what you and your voice can do.
What you'll learn
You start behind the microphone on day one. No endless theory: we believe you only learn this craft by doing it. A lot.
You come to the studio to practise. To try things. To get direction and feedback. To get better, take after take.
You'll try every production type the field has to offer:

Keep listeners hooked for hours
Each production type asks for something slightly different. Too enthusiastic and it sounds fake. Too flat and nobody listens. You'll learn where that balance lies.
In this bootcamp you build the foundation for everything that comes next, whether you want to work as a voice actor, get to know your voice better, or feel more confident when you present.
The CBV method
Over the years we've developed a method that helps you deliver a strong performance fast: the CBV® method. It's not complicated, and it works.
You'll learn how to analyse a script. How to decide which tone of voice fits. How to deliver that tone without sounding forced. And crucially: how to repeat it consistently, take after take.
This is what professionals do differently.
This is why they sound believable and you (for now) don't.
We'll also teach you the things you don't expect: how body language shapes your voice (even when nobody sees you), how timing creates impact, and how rhythm and silence bring a script to life.
Three intensive days
The bootcamp runs for 3 full days from 10:00 to 17:00, each day with its own focus. Dive in, make mistakes, try again: three days of full immersion in a small group of up to 10 participants. Ideal if you want to make fast progress, or if you're travelling from further away.
Afterwards you return for a dedicated demo-recording afternoon from 13:30 to 16:30, in which you record your personal voice demo with professional direction.
Between the studio days
Between sessions you keep practising at home with recording assignments that apply what you've learned. No expensive equipment needed; we'll explain exactly how to make your home recordings with simple tools.
You'll receive detailed feedback on your assignments, so you keep growing between the studio days.
Your grand finale: the voice demo
At the end of the bootcamp you record your own voice demo in our studio. With professional direction, mixed into an end product you can be proud of.
